Unfortunately we stayed only for one night. We were blown away by the experience itself. I guess that was the kind of B&B I was looking for in Scotland. Cozy rooms, great hosts, cute animals, stunning view, tasty scotish breakfast (even vegetarian options available!). It is a farmstay at its best with the loveliest animals you could ask for. Right at the end of the pasture you can walk to the beach and enjoy the breathtaking view. Not to mention the stunning view from our room towards the coast/Glencoe and on a good day you can even see isle of Mull. I really loved it there. They also had great recommendations for restaurants. Our room featured a bathtub, wich I really enjoyed after a cold and rainy day. Great value-for-money. Truly a hidden gem
We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Mairi and Gary! From the moment we arrived, they were so kind and welcoming, making us feel completely at home. Mairi’s local knowledge is fantastic—she gave us great tips on things to see and do that you wouldn’t easily find online. And Gary’s breakfasts? Absolutely delicious! The B&B is in a perfect location, right between Glencoe and Fort William, and close to Oban, making it a great base for exploring the beautiful area. For animal lovers, there’s an extra treat—the friendly cat and dog are a delight, and getting to see the other animals on the property was a bonus! We couldn’t have asked for better hosts and highly recommend staying with them if you’re looking for a warm, friendly, and cozy experience.
Set in a stunning location, this gem of a B&B is well worth a stay. Access to the Loch is straight forward enough (literally at the end of the garden) and the breakfast is delicious and made sociable thanks to the warm hosts. I hope to come back here again and would recommend staying here.
Amazing hosts, super friendly and welcoming. Both Mairi and Gary were very easy to talk to. The breakfast was superb, the most amazing, soft and yellow (free range) scrambled eggs you have ever had! Coffee that wasn't instant (a refreshing change) and a beautiful view from the dining room. The bedroom was a good size with a television (and Netflix)!! The bathroom was huge with a separate shower and roll top bath. Radiator you can adjust to your liking and the room had tea and coffee making facilities and also plenty of storage if you don't want to live out of your suitcase during your stay. The animals were lovely too and made it feel even more homely! Very easy to find and right on the Loch, this B&B is in a perfect location for visiting all the lovely sights Fort William and the west coast has to offer! Highly recommend and we will be back!
Stayed here for two nights,Mari and Gary the hosts were absolutely great from start to finish, anything we needed was sorted out straight away, I left home without my fishing rod ,Mari even offered to lend me her fishing rod to fish in the loch just two hundred feet away from the hotel. One morning Mari ask what plans we had for the day and as we had not made any she offered us a route to take in a lot of the sights, witch we did follow, all in all a very good experience and would not hesitate recommending this hotel, many thanks Mari and Gary. P.s the breakfast was fantastic.
We- a party of four- stayed at Highland Croft B&B for 2 nights at the end of September 2022. It was the highlight of our 2 week trip to Scotland. The accommodations are top notch, the warmth and kindness of our hosts, Mairi and Gary, was so sweet and personal. They went above and beyond to make us feel that we were family. We were so excited to interact with all of the adorable farm animals, and their sweet dog, Broch, and kitty, Toby. The setting on the loch is stunning! I don't usually leave reviews, however after my stay here I felt It was the least I can do as it was absolutely superb!!! Could not ask for better hosts, they made you feel so welcome, with exceptional breakfast cooking skills as well. Location is stunning with Brilliant views. And the beds are so comfortable and cosy had a wonderful night sleep. Would highly recommend staying here.
Mairi and Gary were lovely hosts! The room was cozy and clean and just what we needed. The breakfast was phenomenal, satisfying, and so filling! We were greeted by her lovely pets which is always a highlight for me!! I wish we had stayed longer, but we will definitely be returning in the future!
